Carol Dochen works tirelessly for her buyers and sellers and has done so proudly since 1981 when she began her career with Irene Smith Realtor®. In 1991, Carol opened her office, Carol Dochen Realtors®, Inc, which includes several sales agents and support staff.

Continued commitment to education, professionalism, and her clients has earned Carol top industry sales award recognition. She has served as a director of the Austin Board of Realtors® (ABOR), 2007 President of the Austin Multiple Listing Service (ACTRIS), and a director of the Texas Association of Realtors®.

Her industry sales awards include: 2011 Platinum Top 50 Realtors, Top 25 Realtor® and Top 25 Sales Team from the Austin Business Journal, the Top Realtor® Award from Texas Monthly Magazine and recognition by the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing.

Giving back to community is a driving force in Carol's commitment to Habitat for Humanity. She has donated a portion of every commission for more than 10 years to Habitat for Humanity and was recently recognized by Habitat for her years of dedication. Carol has volunteered with Meals on Wheels, Women's Prison Storybook Project and over the years has performed with several Austin choral groups.

Carol is a director of the Jewish Community Association of Austin at the Dell Jewish Community Center and is an active member of Temple Beth Shalom, Congregation Beth Israel and the National Council of Jewish Women.

Carol grew up in Dallas and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, where she was a member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority and Longhorn Singers. She has been married to Austin native, Sandy Dochen, since 1978. Together, they have raised two wonderful, grown children, Katie and Andrew.
