This is an area of parks, golf courses, residential planned communities, and the beginning of the Texas Hill Country. It is also home to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and the Austin Veloway. Most of the homes have been built in the last 25 years with many newer developments being built.
Neighborhoods include Circle C Ranch, Hielscher, Legend Oaks, Southland Oaks,Village at Western Oaks, Shady Hollow, Southwest Hills, and Heights at Loma Vista.
